Welcome to the Ottawa Region Walleye League
The ORWL is a club established to promote walleye fishing in the Ottawa area. The club supports walleye fishing in a club environment. We have a competition series for club trophies in three categories, Boater, Non-Boater and Junior. As well as several away trips where we usually stay for a weekend, fish and enjoy the club atmosphere. Ethical fishing practices are a key club mandate, Catch, Record and Release procedures (CRR) are encouraged at all club events.
We typically fish Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) Zone 12 (Ottawa River), Zone 15 (North of Arnprior), Zone 18 (South of Arnprior) and Zone 20 (Lake Ontario and Bay of Quinte). Check the MNR Website for fishing regulations, including open seasons, slot sizes and possession limits.Disclaimer Note: Any regulations quoted on this site are quoted to the best of our knowledge.
